Jack is a debonair jewelry thief and rogue. Riding high on the wave of victory after a successful heist, Jack dismisses the warnings from his sniper sidekick Logan to be careful when he picks up his ex-girlfriend Karen from the airport.

Karen's beauty is breathtaking, but Jack's mind begins to whirl when he sees that Karen is obviously pregnant. In the car, Karen is convincing when she explains that he is indeed the father of this unborn love child. Jack has no time to regain his composure as shotgun shells begin to fly from a passing car.

With quick hands and nerves of steel, Jack pulls Karen from the brink of death. A high-speed car chase ensues as Karen masterfully evades their pursuers, spinning and speeding Jack's mustang through dark city streets. Karen admits they are evading killers sent by Eddie, a ruthless, psychotic crime boss from her past with a soft place in his heart for interior design and Broadway musicals. Guns blazing, our heroes narrowly escape.

Eddie is determined to kill Karen and all she loves. She needs Jack's help to invade Eddie's impregnable building and end this grudge before Eddie harms the baby. An explosive confrontation between Jack and Eddie, with Karen caught in the middle, reveals nobody has been telling Jack the truth.
